Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of CodeTitan. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using CodeTitan, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you are using CodeTitan on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at security@codetitan.dev if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses resulting from compromised credentials.

3. Acceptable use

You may use CodeTitan only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the service to analyse code you do not have rights to analyse
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our analysis models
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without written permission
• Use the service to facilitate illegal activity
• Intentionally overload or disrupt our infrastructure

4. Your code and IP

You retain all rights and ownership of your source code. CodeTitan claims no intellectual property rights over your code. The analysis engine runs on your own machine or CI runner — your source code is not transmitted to our servers. If you opt into a cloud feature, we receive and store only the findings report. 5. Our IP

The CodeTitan platform, analysis engine, brand, and all related software are owned by CodeTitan and protected by copyright and other intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to our IP beyond the right to use the service as described.

6. Payment and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. If you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced on our Status page. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing privacy@codetitan.dev — self-service closure from the dashboard is on the roadmap. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the breach. Upon termination, your access ends immediately and your data is deleted per our retention policy.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeTitan's total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We will notify you by email at least 14 days before any material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
